High School Library Reading Policy 圖書館閱覽規則

This policy is specially designed to maximize the use and effectiveness of the library function in supporting students, faculty and staff. This will also serve as guidelines for students on how to use the library resources.

Rule 1

The library will give the pass to the readers according to the school official time.

Rule 2

When borrowing books, teachers can get resources at the stack room personally and retrieve any resource the teacher wants to borrow. For students and teachers, present your ID to the library circulation desk for the borrowing service.

Rule 3

Students should be in complete uniform when entering the library.

Rule 4

To maintain cleanliness and order within the library’s premises, food, drinks, animals nor wet umbrella is strictly not allowed inside the library.

Rule 5

Keep your voice down while inside the library. Students are not allowed to use electronic devices such as cell phones, mp4 or ipad or any devices which may affect the silence being observed inside the library. If there is a need to pick up a phone call, you may do so outside the library.

Rule 6

The library is a common area and must be shared. Do not occupy seats for yourself or keep switching chairs and desks.

Rule 7

Be responsible for your own personal items, and remember to bring them when you leave. The library does not take any responsibility for any personal property.

Rule 8

Creating damages like marking, vandalism or staining any library property will not be tolerated. Fines will be imposed to whoever will break the rule. The fine varies according to the degree of damage.

Rule 9

KCIS library strictly follows copyright laws and violation. You will be held responsible if any of copyright laws is violated.

Rule 10

Failure to follow these rules after several warnings, the library will list your name, class and school ID on the “High School Library Violators Record List “and submit it to the Student Affair Department, and ask to leave the library immediately.
